Cookie policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the website altoti.com uses, for what purpose, for how long, and how you can manage them.

This English version is provided for convenience. These documents are governed by Peruvian law and, in case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser or device. They are used to remember your preferences, make the site work properly or measure how it is used. In this policy we also include other similar storage or measurement technologies that serve equivalent functions.

3. Legal framework

Peru has no specific rule on cookies. When a cookie or an online identifier identifies a person or makes them identifiable, we treat it as personal data and apply Law No. 29733, the Personal Data Protection Law, and its Regulations, approved by Supreme Decree No. 016-2024-JUS.

Under the Regulations, consent must be free, prior, express, unequivocal and informed (articles 2 to 6). For that reason, if we later add cookies that are not necessary, we will only activate them after you accept them. This policy meets the duty to inform but does not replace your consent (article 7 of the Regulations).

These functional items do not require your consent because they are indispensable to remember the choice you make when browsing the site. We do not use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. How to manage these items

  • The site only stores your language and visual theme when you use the language selector or the theme switch. If you do not use them, nothing is stored.
  • You can delete that data at any time from your browser settings, free of charge.
  • If we later add analytics or other optional cookies, we will first show a notice so you can accept or reject them, and we will update this policy.

7. Providers and transfers

The site does not include third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools, so the items described do not send browsing data to other providers. The data processing that does take place is explained in the Terms of use and personal data policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the cookies we use or the applicable rules change. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date and, if the change is relevant, we will ask for your choice again.
